Despite all the dramas of the year the amazing Greenwich (Sydney Australia) artists hosted a very successful Greenwich Village Arts Trail. The outdoor nature of the event had art enthusiasts out in record numbers - eager to log in with QR Codes before attending a fabulous collection of work.

The dates were Saturday November 7th & Sunday November 8th 2020 and most artworks were for sale. Here is the map & list featuring all the artists that were on the Covid Safe trail.

There was also  a bus dedicated to the trail for the weekend & coffee stops around…

Look out for GVAT 2021 - planned for the first weekend in November 2021.

Andrea is an architect and contemporary figurative painter. She is 18 on the 2020 trail.
Her work tends toward observational representation, often of landscapes and objects from walks around Greenwich.
Since beginning her painting practice in 2017, Andrea has participated in exhibitions in Sydney and Regional NSW. She has also won a number of awards including, most recently, the Waverley Drawing Prize.

Rhonda, number 1 on the Arts Trail, is inspired by by nature and the physical and social urban environment in which we live.
Her work is an exploration of how various print making methods can be used to reflect on the textures and rhythms of our environment. www.rhondanelsonart.net

Amanda Harrison’s sculpture is about joy, life and love, conveying strength in optimism. She is number 15 on the 2020 Arts Trail.
She writes: “My favorite subject is the parent and child, an ancient symbol of renewal and hope. My figures are contemporary in style, using uncomplicated shapes and flowing lines, always seeking the elusive simplified human form.

I love exploring balance, often putting my figures up on their toes, hopping or dancing, creating both tension and movement in the piece as well as giving it a whimsical feel, which I love. Surface texture is also a passion, not only because texture brings energy and highlights the form but because it also makes a ‘made by hand’ statement, important in this world of mass-produced goods.”
